About AJ
AJ has spent years honing her skills as an editor, writer and researcher. She has had 3 publications, two Creative non-fiction essays and one poem. She edited her own stories and others work for years, and understands what it takes to make a great story. With years of reading, study and practice under her belt she understands the nuances and rules of storytelling; from plot and setting to tropes, metaphor and allegory.
AJ's individual writer styles and interests are focused in fantasy, speculative and historical fictions, non-fictions and poetry with a horror, grotesque or fantasy twist

Ashes to Ashes
Novel: Ashworthy stands solemnly and hidden in the 19th century English isles. Ariana, the second daughter of Lord and Lady Ashworthy, despite her deep love for her father, learns of the many horrors inherent in his medical practice and their family's long history. Yet Lady Ashworthy always knew of the rotten perversions taking place within her home and family. Together they must struggle against false, folkloric assumptions in order to rise from their own ashes. While Ariana tangled in the memory of a witchedly wise Aunt, must dig her and her family out of the cadaverous Ashworthy or die trying.
The Pink Roses
Short story: a vaguely haunted home must be confronted by the middle daughter after the mysterious death of her whole family. Lacey, is met by the guilt-ridden yet emotionless death of her mother, and cannot bring herself to leave her childhood home where the secrets of her dead siblings and lost father lay, buried somewhere beyond the pink rose garden.
